ForestWorks, as the industry owned not for profit skills development organisation, is a key contributor to the development of skills standards and qualifications for job roles and activities in the forest and wood products and pulp and paper industries.
Skills Impact, the government endorsed Skills Service Organisation (SSO), has the responsibility for the development of skills standards and qualifications for a number of industries including forest and wood products and pulp and paper industries. Skills Impact provides services to Industry Reference Committees (IRCs) across a number of industries and industry sectors.
ForestWorks works closely with Skills Impact to ensure quality management of the 4 IRCs that cover the Forest and Wood Products and Pulp and Paper industries.

The following Feedback Register supports the Industry Reference Committees (IRCs) in the development and review of training packages, including skills standards and qualifications. Feedback helps to ensure the currency of the PPM Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Industry and FWP Forest and Wood Products training packages.
