Workforce Development Manager
David brings over 20 years of experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, having held various roles at Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre, including Field Officer, Business Development, State Manager, and Project Manager. One of his key accomplishments was the successful delivery of the Victorian Manufacturing Skills Project on behalf of the State Government. David is deeply passionate about the effective delivery of apprenticeships and traineeships, and he derives great satisfaction from helping new entrants to the workforce complete their qualifications.
Before joining Ai Group, David completed a trade qualification with Ansett Airlines, where he worked as a Senior Avionics Technician for 15 years. He later transitioned into Initial Provisioning with the airline until its forced closure in September 2001. In addition to his trade qualification, David holds an Advanced Diploma in Management and HR, a Certificate III in Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
