Farewell and Appreciation for Michael Borowick
The Board and staff of ForestWorks would like to express their gratitude and extend warm wishes to Michael Borowick as he steps down from his role as Chief Executive Officer. Since his appointment in June 2022, Michael’s tenure has been characterised by a period of significant activity within ForestWorks. His leadership has been pivotal in guiding several major initiatives, most notably the provision of essential support services to Victorian workers affected by the Victorian Forestry Plan and the scoping study for the Australian Government’s Forestry Workforce Training Program.
Michael’s dedication and leadership have been invaluable assets to ForestWorks. His guidance has enabled the organisation to successfully navigate a complex and evolving landscape. We are deeply grateful for his substantial contributions and extend our sincerest best wishes for his future endeavours.

The team consists of individuals from around the country bringing a wide range of skills and experience, including from the forest and wood products industry. We have individuals who are specialists in skills standard and qualifications development, state-based skills advisory managers operating in regions across Australia and administrative professionals who support the rest of the team and general operations.
