Head of Skills Standards Development (Brisbane Office)

Georgiana has 10+ years of providing high-level advice and research in skills development for the forest and wood products industry focussing on skills and training needs analysis, skills standards development and workforce development tools and solutions. In her previous roles at ForestWorks, Georgiana was responsible for undertaking reviews and developing industry skills reports that provided advice to Australian industry groups and governments, establishing national plans for skills priorities.

Prior to joining ForestWorks, she worked as Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne where she collaborated within multidisciplinary research teams from the University of Melbourne and CSIRO to conduct science-based studies with practical applications for the timber and wood products industry. She holds a PhD in microwave-wood innovations from the Swinburne University of Technology, and a MSc in agricultural economics.
