The Work Health and Safety Audit Standard provides a framework for auditing an organisation’s work health and safety and Chain of Responsibility management systems. This includes compliance with federal and state legislations.
The standard was developed by forest managers and forestry contracting businesses in South Australia and Victoria and is applicable to all types and sizes of businesses with operations in those states. It could also be used in other jurisdictions.
The standard has been revised to conform with the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems (ISO 45001:2018).
