ForestWorks representatives attended the ATTA workshop in Melbourne at the end of July. The annual event was opened by Eric Siegers, Executive Manager of MGA’s Timber Division, which is a result of the recent integration of the Timber Merchants Association with MGA. The event included three days of presentations, workshops and meetings that were organised by a number of ATTA members (including ForestWorks). A field trip to Yarra Valley provided an opportunity to discuss chainsaw units and assessment methods.
We were pleased to support this event again this year, sponsoring the dinner on the first night. Speaking at the event, Diana Lloyd, ForestWorks’ General Manager, outlined the role of ForestWorks in industry and spoke about the FOLS Skills Verification Program.
