Earlier this week ForestWorks attended the ATTA workshop, held in Creswick, in Victoria. Rob Rule, Manager of Timber Training Creswick and local ATTA executive member, hosted the event.

A number of ATTA members helped to organise sessions and attendees (including ForestWorks) thought it was a great success and  provided a valuable opportunity for participants to develop their professional relationships and networks.

ForestWorks CEO Michael Hartman led an examination of the evolving VET operating environment.  Attendees then learned how to enrich their training delivery through Brain Friendly Training, presented by Mindworks Australasia’s Laurie Kelly.  ForestWorks was pleased to host the first dinner of the workshop on Monday night. A tour of Timber Training Creswick was supported by a look at the latest technology improvements in chainsaws and mobile sawmilling equipment.  A number of technology suppliers to the industry also supported the event with sessions and sponsorship. We thank Stihl and Waratah Australia for their contributions.
