The FOLS Assessor Network is facilitated by Forestworks and can assist member assessors and RTOs to meet ASQA requirements relating to assessment tools and validation and moderation requirements. Registered network member RTOs and their associated assessors are listed on FOLS.
The network allows members to access a set of assessment tools for highly used units of competency from the FWP Training Package. Each year the network is asked to contribute to a list of priorities for validation and moderation activities, namely the updating of assessment tools.
When units within the Training Package are updated, such as the machinery units as a result of the Harvesting Optimisation project, Forestworks updates these tools with the input of the assessor network.
Registered Assessors and the RTOs that employ them are to be listed on FOLS.
