The final draft units of competency have been checked for editorial, equity and quality assurance after they received support from the Forest Management and Harvesting Industry Reference Committee (IRC) to proceed to the final stage.

The final draft units have been forwarded to the State/Territory Training Authorities (STAs/TTAs) for feedback. Feedback from the STAs/TTAs will be reviewed and incorporated into the final draft units. After consideration and signoff by the IRC, the final drafts will be submitted to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) as part of a Case for Endorsement, to consider and approve for publication on training.gov.au.

Units in this project have been reviewed and developed in line with current forest harvesting optimisation technology and the impact on utilisation processes.
