We are currently testing and trialling the online portal for the Forestry Better Business program with three contracting businesses. The businesses cover harvesting, haulage and silvicultural activities in Tasmania.
Feedback from these businesses will be incorporated in the updates to the program, and will be presented to the next Steering Committee meeting in erly June.
The online portal will provide businesses with the ability to store and share information that demonstrates they are meeting standards they are required to meet under four key areas listed below. Businesses that meet all the requirements will achieve Forestry Better Business recognition.
