The Victorian Government recently launched a new $40 million Workforce Training Innovation Fund (WTIF).

The WTIF provides grant funding for industry and training provider partnerships to develop and deliver innovative strategies for improving training outcomes and the relevance of training to industry.

Please contact Antoinette Hewitt for assistance to progress ideas and develop project proposals.

Two types of funding are available now

Seed Funding

Seed funding of up to $50,000 is available to support the development of proposals for WTIF grant funding. Seed funding can be used for activities such as scoping studies, research, consulting and workshops.

Grant funding

Grant funding is available for industry and training provider partnerships and can include consortiums. Grant proposals up to $5 million will be accepted for consideration.

Grant funding is available across four interrelated categories:

  • Future growth sectors
  • Workforce training and skills development
  • New training programs and methods
  • Applied research
