The WHS network for the northern NSW hardwood industry regrouped this month, with a meeting taking place in Coffs Harbour on Tuesday 3 May 2016.

The purpose of the forum was to discuss workplace health and safety matters in a regional context and provide an opportunity for all members to learn from the experiences of others in the room.

Interested businesses from other forestry and timber sectors are more than welcome to attend future meetings.

ForestWorks supports a series of WHS groups around Australia as part of our commitment to supporting industry. Consistent with the VIC, TAS and SA networks, the NSW network’s primary objective is to work constructively and co-operatively in a learning environment in pursuit of sustainable and safer workplaces.

The next Northern NSW meeting is scheduled for August 26, to coincide with the AFCA regional forum in Coffs Harbour.
