The Training and Skills Development Service (TSDS) in Tasmania continues to be a popular mechanism to assist Tasmanian forestry workers adjust to changing job requirements, brought about by advances in technology and new product development. To date, 100 applications have been received, providing over $1.5 million in training support to Tasmanian Industry.

The TSDS webpage contains all the information and downloads you need to submit an application, including a short video presentation which provides an overview of the program.

The TSDS Guidelines are available on the ForestWorks website. If your project falls slightly outside the guidelines, but is of clear benefit to the Tasmanian Timber and Forest Industry, it may still be approved.
