The textile, clothing and footwear industry directly impacts on individual Australian’s everyday life both at home and in the workplace. The industry is undergoing significant innovation based on essential and practical skills that have been honed over many years.
The sector is regularly adopting new technology, equipment and processes to improve safety, sustainability, and efficiency that provide essential skills and services to our broader economy.
TextileWorks provides services to support learning and careers, so that industry is equipped with the skills it needs to meet future challenges and opportunities. We have a long history of establishing partnerships.

A key purpose of TextileWorks is to work with stakeholders to identify, forecast and respond to current and emerging skills needs and workforce challenges. In collaboration with Stakeholders we seek to address industry and stakeholder concerns and provide opportunities to consider and develop innovative approaches to addressing long standing skills issues.
