Forestry Workforce Training Program 2024-2027
Piloting innovative training models, micro-credentials and inclusive pathways to build a skilled forestry and wood products workforce, while developing trainer capacity and resource infrastructure for lasting industry-wide impact.
The program is now fully underway, with all projects active and several pilots already delivering outcomes on the ground. Additional pilots will open for enrolment in early 2026. Industry interest has been exceptional. Explore the project pages to learn more about each project and its progress.
Skills Recognition
This theme encompasses two projects aimed at developing tools and resources for assessment-only pathways (RPL, RCC) and hybrid delivery models (RPL/RCC combined with workplace training to address skills gaps).
